Product Introduction
TACOM "1/35 German Sd.Kfz.181 Pz.Kpfw.VI Ausf.E Tiger I Experimental Project 3-in-1" plastic model kit.
The Tiger I with KwK.43 L/71 gun was planned by the Ordnance Department's 6th Section in August 1943, and involved replacing the Tiger I's main gun with the KwK.43 gun used on the Tiger II.
Wegmann, which was requested to work on this project, ordered a turret from Krupp to mount the KwK.43 and planned to conduct tests in October of the same year. However, the KwK.43 was prioritized for the Tiger II, so this gun conversion plan never came to fruition.
The T-VI-100 was a Soviet-planned conversion of a captured Tiger I equipped with a 100mm D-10 gun. It never survived beyond planning.
The Tiger I with the KwK.L/55 A18 was equipped with a 75mm A18 autoloader with a five-round magazine, which Skoda had planned to equip on the T-25 medium tank.
While the T-25 medium tank never reached the surface, the A18 autoloader was installed and tested on recovered Tiger I tanks after the war.
This is a "3-in-1" kit that allows you to choose and build one of the following:
・Tiger I with the 88mm KwK.43 L/71
・T-VI-100
