Product Introduction
The brake fluid tester is used to test the quality of brake fluid. The percentage of water content in the brake fluid is displayed by the number of lit LEDs on the tester. The FT123 brake fluid tester measures the change in water content in brake fluid based on changes in conductivity. The degree of water content is clearly displayed through LEDs. High water content will lower the boiling point and affect braking performance. Red light indicates that the brake fluid needs to be changed, green light indicates good condition, and yellow light indicates acceptable condition.

Product Indication:
Green: Battery level OK/No water;
Green/Yellow: Water content less than 1%;
Green/Yellow/Yellow: Water content close to 2%;
Green/Yellow/Yellow/Red: Water content close to 3%, brake fluid replacement recommended;
Green/Yellow/Yellow/Red/Red: Water content greater than 4%, dangerous, brake fluid must be replaced immediately.

Battery: 1 AAA battery. Open the battery cover according to the arrow direction indicated on the test pen.
Note 1. 1. If the green LED light does not illuminate after pressing the power button for an extended period, the battery needs to be replaced.
2. After each use, clean the test probe with water.
3. Do not expose brake fluid to air for extended periods, as brake fluid is highly hygroscopic.
Preparation before testing: Unscrew the brake fluid reservoir cap and remove the test probe cap. Immerse the test probe in the brake fluid in the reservoir.
Water content test: Press the power button; the green LED light will illuminate. Hold for 1 second. The test result will be displayed by the illuminated LED. After the test, the test pen will automatically shut off after 12 seconds.
