Since their release 50 years ago, these albums have transformed countless listeners of all ages and around the world into lifelong Beatles fans. Expanded for the 2023 Edition release, this collection features 75 outstanding tracks from The Beatles' oeuvre, from the first single, "Love Me Do," to the finale, "Now and Then." The 21 newly added tracks (12 on the Red Album and 9 on the Blue Album) showcase The Beatles' best songs like never before.

In recent years, new stereo and Dolby Atmos mixes have been created for several tracks on The Beatles 1967-1970 and several tracks on The Beatles 1962-1966 for special edition album releases, including Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (2017), The Beatles (The White Album) (2018), Abbey Road (2019), Let It Be (2021), and Revolver (2022), as well as a new stereo mix for The Beatles 1 (2015). All tracks not included on these releases have been newly mixed in stereo and/or Dolby Atmos by Giles Martin and Sam Okell at Abbey Road Studios with the assistance of Wingnut Films' audio demixing technology (Dolby Atmos available digitally only). Both collections include a new essay by journalist and author John Harris.
