300mm WOODWORKING RULE - You receive a Woodpeckers 300mm Paolini pocket rule with one slide stop. Made from red anodized aluminum. The rule is 1 inch wide and 1/8 inch thick.
LASER ENGRAVED & MARKING GAUGE - The scale is laser engraved with 1mm increments on either side of the ruled line and has vertical edge markings on both sides. Fine notches on the edge of the scale turn this tool into an instant marking gauge.
SLIDING STOP - The included stop slides easily along the rule. Lock it in place for repeatable measurements across multiple boards. Release the stop, insert it into the cutout, and hold the rule upright. Use this feature to dial in the height of your router bit, saw blade, or DADO stack.

What sets the Paolini Pocket Rule apart from other rules? Its most unique feature is the stop that slides up and down the length of the ruler. It can be locked in place for repeatable measurements on multiple boards. There's also a fine notch at the end of the rule. Set the stop, place a pencil in the notch, and you've got an instant marking gauge. When you need a vertical measurement, slide the stop from the end and insert it into the cutout in the ruler. It makes the perfect stand to hold the rule upright while you dial in the height of your router bit, saw blade, or dado stack with both hands, and you can line up the easy-to-read scale engraved at the end of the rule. Easy-to-use graduation design. The standard model has 1/16-inch and 1/32-inch scales on both sides. They're side-by-side, so if you need a fine scale, just flip the rule over and you're there. The same goes for the end scales. Simply flip it over to see the fine or coarse scales. A welcome feature when shop lighting isn't perfect or your eyesight isn't what it used to be. The bright white laser-engraved scale on the "oodpecker Red" anodized surface makes the original aluminum Paolini pocket rule one of the most readable rules on the market, and one of the lightest. If you prefer a thinner rule, choose the stainless steel version. Both are milled to a precise 1-inch width. The anodized aluminum rule is 1/8 inch thick, while the stainless steel model is 1/16 inch thick. Both are available with an inch-only, metric-only, or inch-metric combo scale.
