A new wave band from Basildon, England. The members are Martin Gore (g,vo,key), Dave Gahan (vo), and Andy "Fletch" Fletcher (key). Formed in 1981 with Fletch's group as the base. From their debut in the same year to "Delta Machine" in 2013, they released 13 albums, which reached the top 10 in more than 20 countries including the US and the UK. They also had commercial success with their tours, and despite their twists and turns, they dominated the scene as a popular band with a strong influence as pioneers of the post-punk era. They boast sales of 100 million copies worldwide. In 2017, they released their 14th album "Spirit".
