Scope of Application

Easy Installation: With basic DIY skills, it's easy to fit into the corresponding tools. When measuring for the correct size, with the secateurs in the open position, you'll see two lugs/knobs (one on each handle) that the spring fits over. Measure the gap including these lugs/knobs, and that's the size you need. The spring will need to be slightly compressed when fitting in the open position to ensure a secure fit.
Function as a Volute Spring: A volute spring is a compression spring in the form of a cone. Under compression, its coils are not forced against each other, allowing for varying travel. This feature makes it ideal for use in secateurs and also works well with kitchen scissors, making the cutting of food with kitchen scissors more effortless. Moreover, after installing the spring in the scissors, the use of the scissors becomes lighter and more labor-saving.
