[About the product] The Kabazaiku fountain pen is made from real wild cherry tree bark. Therefore, depending on the wood surface, it may look like a scratch, but please enjoy the attractive expression of the bark due to the specifications of the material.
<Kabazaiku> Kabazaiku is a traditional craft that was born in Akita Prefecture, a snowy country. The technique, which began as a samurai's hand job, gradually spread to the citizens and has been developed in Kakunodate from the early Meiji period to the present day. Once the bark of the wild cherry tree used in Kabazaiku is peeled off by a craftsman, it regrows within a few years without killing the tree. You can feel the strong vitality of the wild cherry blossoms, which have withstood many months of freezing temperatures and been polished by wind, snow, and rain. Furthermore, Kabazaiku's excellent moisture-proof, dry-proof, and robust properties make it the perfect material for making traditional crafts that can be enjoyed for a long time.
