To achieve a new approach to high-gain distortion in a pedal format, the Hard Drive features cascading gain stages and hard limiting circuitry, with a "sweepable midrange" EQ and Baxandall bass and treble controls in the Class AB amplifier section. A wealth of external controls lets you control everything from tube amp crunch to real wall-like distortion that's easy to pull off on stage or in a studio mix.
