Product Introduction
This is a 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit of the Opel Manta 400 Gr.B, which competed in rallies from 1983 to 1986.
Manufactured by Belkit, a Belgian company that actively develops both modern and classic rally cars.
In addition to basic plastic parts, the kit also includes photo-etched detail parts, seatbelt material, and a masking sheet for convenient painting of window frames.
The body features the wide overfenders and rear spoiler unique to Group B cars, as well as the hood air scoop and slits.
The cockpit is modeled with separate parts, including the rally-equipped dashboard gauges, floor-mounted footrests, and tools such as a fire extinguisher and wrench.
You can also choose between right-hand drive and left-hand drive versions.
The markings recreate the number 1 car driven by Jimmy McRae, which finished fourth in the 1984 24 Hours of Ypres Rally, held in Belgium from June 29 to July 1, 1984, as part of the 1984 European Rally Championship.
