Product Introduction
The P-40 series served as the main fighter aircraft of not only the U.S. Army Air Corps but also the Allied forces, serving in every battlefield of World War II. Due to its high production efficiency, ease of handling, and ruggedness, it was used for ground attack and anti-bomber combat. The P-40E was the first mass-produced model, with a total of approximately 2,300 produced. Compared to the previous D model, it featured reinforced armor and armament, making it more practical.
This kit features parts designed for accurate exterior shape and easy assembly. The windshield can be displayed open or closed. The front and rear windshield sections are molded in clear plastic and integrated with the fuselage panels, making for easy gluing and a beautiful finish. A seated pilot figure is included. Two decals representing U.S. Army Air Corps aircraft are included.
