This is the first time in Japan that a Lexus vehicle has been deployed as a black-and-white police car and is being operated by the traffic riot police.
This vehicle was donated by the same person as the GT-R (R35) police car that was previously donated by a prefectural citizen, and it is based on an LC500 equipped with a V8 5000cc gasoline engine.
It is equipped with a V-shaped police light, a front red light housed in the lower part of the grille, an auxiliary mirror on the passenger side, and a full range of police car equipment.
This vehicle does not have a call sign on the ceiling.
When the car was delivered, a donation ceremony was held in front of the prefectural office, just like the GT-R.
