[Contents] A set of two iconic Nissan racing cars that were active in the 1990s.
The R390 was built for the Le Mans 24 Hours race, and was developed in collaboration with the British race team and factory, TWR (Tom Walkinshaw Racing). It was equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 twin turbo engine in the center of the body, which is completely different from Nissan's mass-produced cars. It participated in the Le Mans 24 Hours race in 1997 and 1998, and in 1998, the R390 driven by the Japanese trio of Hoshino Kazuyoshi, Suzuki Aguri, and Kageyama Masahiko came in third overall, delighting Japanese racing fans.
The Primera is a mid-size sedan that debuted in 1990 and is often described as "like a European car." It gained popularity for its high body rigidity and excellent handling performance, and took advantage of this to participate in the European sedan race BTCC and Japan's JTCC.
The JTCC cars have the same body as the commercially available Primera, but the lowered height and large diameter wheels give them a more powerful form.
Hot Wheels has skillfully scaled down the atmosphere of the JTCC cars using new molds.
