It is carefully dyed by skilled Japanese leather dyers. Because it is handmade, each piece has a slightly different appearance; no two are exactly alike. Please enjoy the individuality of hand-dyeing. The greatest pleasure of using vegetable-tanned leather is "aging." As you use it, the color fades, the oils from your hands soak in, and scratches are etched into it, transforming it into a unique piece that you will cherish.
