The setting expands from a single castle to the entire Demon Realm, and in this long-awaited evolution from a stage-clearing style to an exploration-based game, players use two characters, "Kirika" and "Marsha," with distinct abilities, to explore the Demon Realm, strengthen their weapons, and battle boss Demon Lords who rule over each region. All for the restoration of the Demon Lord, "Demon Lord Maxim," whom they serve. Demons and allies alike, even demon hunters from the human world, join the battle, and you'll unfold a crazy, action-packed adventure. Story: Demon World is a land where conflicts between demons never cease. Among them, the most powerful demons are known as "Demon Lords," and these demon lords fight day and night for dominance over the Demon World. One day, the castle of Demon Lord Maxim, for whom the protagonists Kirika and Marsha serve as maids, is destroyed by the rival Demon Lord Raisenog. While all of his vassals are massacred, Kirika and Marsha survive. And while he barely manages to survive, Demon Lord Maxim's appearance has changed dramatically.
