It detects metal and wood behind the wall and alerts you with a light and an electronic sound.It also has a power line warning function, so if it detects AC current, the power line warning light will come on.
Detectable substrate: wood and metal *Cannot distinguish between wood and metal Thickness: up to 35mm
Usable wall materials: plywood, gypsum board, reinforced gypsum board (some types are not permitted)
If the wall is damp, it will not detect accurately. Depending on the environment, it may not be possible to detect properly.
The included battery is a monitor battery for testing operation, so please prepare a new battery before use. (Power supply: 1 x 9V alkaline battery *Please remove the vinyl covering before use)
If you want to determine whether the substrate is metal or not, or if you want to detect the center of the substrate in one shot, please consider a higher-end model.
