In 1976, BOSS introduced the world's first chorus effect pedal, the CE-1. Responding to requests from many guitarists, the CE-2 now packs that chorus sound into a compact pedal body. Its unique chorus sound, with its pleasant, gentle modulation, continues to be loved by leading players even 40 years later. In 2016, marking the 40th anniversary of the birth of BOSS's first CE-1, the original chorus is reborn with Waza Craft. Standard mode recreates the chorus sound of the CE-2, while the stereo output provides a spaciousness not available on the CE-2. The CE-2 also features two CE-1 modes: Chorus and Vibrato. Chorus depth control, not available on the original, is now available. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the birth of BOSS effects, we are returning to our roots and offering the CE-2W in a Made in Japan specification.
