This D/A converter and headphone amplifier is USB-connected, bus-powered, and compatible with high-resolution audio sources. It uses the ESS Technology ES9023P DAC IC and the Cirrus Logic CS8416 digital audio receiver. Experience the high-performance DAC's pure, unadulterated sound quality thanks to its coupling-less design, delivering unadulterated, pure audio that sounds as if you're listening to a performance right in front of you. In addition to USB, the digital inputs include SPDIF optical and coaxial inputs, allowing you to switch between three digital inputs. The headphone amplifier features a two-stage configuration with three operational amplifiers, and independent left and right current amplification stages deliver excellent channel separation and high-power output capable of driving high-impedance headphones.
