The legend returns! The Beetle, an off-road vehicle, is brought back to life. Enhanced with the latest equipment alongside its original design, a new level of driving performance begins. The “Beetle”, a legendary off-road machine, is co-legendary with the "Scorpion", known worldwide as one of the representative electric buggies of the 1980s. It is now back in the 21st century to echo the enthusiastic cries of its fans. The funny form reminiscent of a real Baja racer houses an upgraded type of ladder frame 2WD chassis that gained popularity in the Scorpion 2014. Building upon the original chassis, once said to have come from the future, many of the latest features have been implemented. Enjoy the drive of the modern “Beetle” that elevates the glory of the past for those who know its history and for the contemporary drivers unfamiliar with it. The off-road machine “Beetle” has been reproduced, and all components upgraded to the 2014 model. The gear box and oil dampers are pre-assembled (separate oil injection required) and made from 6061T6 aluminum for the suspension arms. The gearbox is equipped with a differential gear, made from two-piece aluminum die-cast. The slipper clutch provides gear protection while allowing freedom of setup. The oil dampers with aluminum cylinders and stainless shafts ensure smooth operation. Screw points have been treated for a flat surface, and the number of nuts and tapping screws has been reduced for weight savings. Most screws are hex screws to ensure a solid assembly feeling. The rear wheels have a one-piece structure to be lightweight, and the rear tires come with inner foam. Tires adopt a new high-grip material and block pattern. It is a full ball bearing specification (14 pieces) for high efficiency. The battery box shape adapts to various battery forms and sizes. You can install an optional ball differential for the Altima RB series.
