Zoom EXH-8 External XLR Input Expansion Capsule for H8, Black

The EXH-8 is an external input expansion capsule that adds four locking XLR inputs to the H8 handheld recorder. Signals from microphones and mixers can be input, and in combination with the six inputs on the H8 main unit, up to 10 channels of audio can be input. Each input is equipped with a dedicated GAIN knob and a -20dB PAD switch, so you can input the +4dB line level used by professional equipment without distortion. If you connect a DC5V USB power supply (such as the separately sold AC adapter AD-17) to the EXH-8, you can also supply phantom power required for using a condenser microphone. When using the H8's built-in MUSIC app, it can be used as a multitrack recorder with up to 10 tracks, a recorder with 4 sound pads + 8 microphone inputs with the PODCAST app, and a field recorder with up to 12 tracks (10 tracks + L/R mix) with the FIELD app, and it can be used for projects that require up to 10 channels of input.
