AQ Pontos 6 Three-way speaker with built-in Scan-Speak speakers, internal wiring harness is AUDIOQUEST Rocket 33. The speaker housing is made of MDF board covered with high-gloss polyester varnish.. To achieve the highest quality, up to 8 layers of varnish are applied, which becomes very rigid and forms part of the anti-resonance reinforcement of the speaker. The bass reflex is placed in the lower part of the housing, below the woofers. The speaker grill is attached with hidden magnets. The column base is equipped with nuts with metric thread M6 which allows for the installation of spikes. The terminal allows bi-wiring and bi-amping connections and the use of cables with a cross-section of up to 4.5 mm2. The speakers installed in the column come from the prestigious Danish factory Scan-Speak. The use of such top-of-the-range transducers in columns of this price category is unique and it is difficult to find real competition.. The mid-range and low-frequency speaker baskets are cast from an aluminum-based alloy and the cones are made of fiberglass, providing excellent rigidity at low weight. Thanks to these materials, the speakers have excellent dynamics. The extended pole tweeter provides a wider listening area, up to the extremely high frequencies of 43 kHz.
