The Shin-Etsu Main Line between Yokogawa and Karuizawa, commonly known as Usui Pass, remains in the hearts of railway fans as an essential place in the history of Japanese railways.
Among the trains with a 9 at the end of the model name that can cross the Usui Pass, we have realistically reproduced the Bonnet 489 series [Hakusan Asama], which was used as an AC/DC limited express train. Please enjoy it together with Toge's Sherpa EF63.
A prototype reproduction of the 1978 Kanazawa Driving Office's ``Hakusan Asama'' formation, which consisted of early cars equipped with mushroom-shaped coolers (AU12 type).
The roof color is expressed in gray.
