The function is programmable to the software of the Piano itself, that is, it only acts as a button. And it works correctly, the touch is a bit average (that's the difference), but it has a double-sided interface. What a joke of a Pedal!! Very good, it only fails a little, the touch, which looks like "the Plano" + well the PLANO is Original. So, it's not a thing, well, the pedal is fine, but it's a fix. For showing off and for hard testing, it has a bit more quality. Not much else. It's made of enriched rubber, it's good to have one like that, buy one too! Like me. But, you should know that, you can regulate the touch. And that, the functions are, through, the Piano itself, which has nothing to do with the pedal circuit, which is just a circuit.
