PLATZ 1/48 Soviet MiG-23MF Frogger B with Metal Pitot Tube Plastic Model TPA-56
This is a 1/48 scale plastic assembly kit of the Frogger B, the MF version of the MiG-23 Frogger, a swing-wing fighter developed by the Soviet Union.
The finished length is 35cm.
Just like the real thing, the model's swing-wing wings can be opened and closed even after assembly.
This kit also includes a metal pitot tube.
The kit itself uses Italeri parts to realistically model the Soviet aircraft's unique fuselage shape, down to the panel lines.
The pitot tube attached to the nose, which adds a sharp touch to the aircraft, is fitted with a metal-turned part made by Hobby Master.
The delicate shape is accurately reproduced and the model is strong enough.
The large ventral fins attached to the underside of the rear fuselage, a distinctive feature of the Frogger, can be assembled in either landing or flight mode, and details such as the cockpit and landing gear are also mechanically reproduced.
Markings are selected from Soviet Air Force aircraft.
A masking sheet is included for easy painting of the canopy frame.
