While we can't promise to keep your hands warm as the seasons change, we can keep your feet fresh with the Loam Grip. This grip has many features, including an ultra-sticky compound and ergonomic patterning to support your palms and help alleviate fatigue caused by trail chatter and long days in the saddle. The Loam Grip features two contrasting patterns, and these dueling motifs play a key ergonomic role. Thin strips run horizontally across the surface of the grip, enhancing traction and a supple feel, while the thick mountain pattern supports the padding of your hands. Reinforcing this outer zone more firmly helps combat compound degradation, allowing the grip to absorb more vibrations and providing the structure it needs to support the additional weight pressing down on this area. The Loam Grip is made for enduro/trail riding, and choosing the compound with that in mind was crucial. We needed to identify a blend that was soft enough to absorb vibrations, yet firm enough to maintain its shape under pressure. We call this the "Happy Kid"
We call it a "jumper" blend because it strikes a balance between an ultra-soft material that wears down too quickly and a harder compound that lacks tactile effect.
