Easy-to-use shape
- Comes with a cute handle.
- The inside is rounded and deep, making cooking easy.
- The bottom is also glazed, giving it a beautiful finish.
- The name of the kiln is printed on the underside of the lid.
Precautions for Use
- Can be used over an open flame, microwave, oven, and radiant heater. Cannot be used on an induction cooktop.
- Never heat the pot empty.
- It will break if dropped. As it is a ceramic product, it will break if subjected to impact. Please handle with care. Also, do not use if it is broken or cracked.
- Do not immerse it in water. Make sure it is thoroughly dried before use. Also, when not in use, allow it to dry thoroughly before storing.
- Be careful not to get burned. The pot and lid will be very hot during cooking and for a while after cooking, and you may get burned if you touch them directly. When opening the lid, always use mitts or other protective gear to avoid burns.
- Never use it for deep-fried foods such as tempura or fries.
- Always place a trivet on the table when placing a pot after cooking.
- Burnt food can be washed off. You can scrub it with a metal scrubbing brush.
- Adjust the amounts of side dish ingredients and seasonings to your liking.
- Cooking times will vary depending on the temperature and heat, so please use this as a guide only.
- As each pot is handmade by an artisan, there may be uneven coloring or the glaze may have run. This does not affect its usability, so please use it with confidence.
*Note about ivory: If used over an open flame (or in an oven), carbon and other materials will adhere to the pot and make it difficult to remove stains.
To maintain its beautiful appearance, we recommend using it in the microwave.
- Even if the pot turns black after being used over an open flame (or in an oven), it can still be used as is.
