These forged pegs are made by heating round steel material to approximately 1100°C and then crushing the cross-section into an oval shape in one go with a powerful force of approximately one ton. By applying powerful pressure to the heated steel, we are able to create pegs with exceptional strength.
Regular round steel pegs tend to spin around in the ground, making them difficult to use, but oval pegs penetrate hard ground containing gravel and stones well and stay firmly in place without spinning around in the ground.
The material is also designed to be thicker in the direction of the rope's tension, making them extremely durable.
Areas that come into contact with the rope are carefully trimmed to prevent burrs from cutting the rope.
The coating is cathodic electrocoating, which has excellent rust resistance and can withstand over 1,000 hours of salt spray. Its overall length of 280mm makes it easy to handle in any situation.
