Product Description: Noise Reduction Rating NRR 33Soft foam for a smooth, perfect fitCurved design for a perfect sealNot made with natural rubber latexNoise Reduction Rating: 33 decibels (when used as directed)Traditional hearing protectors have a noise reduction rating range of approximately 0 to 30 (higher numbers indicate greater effectiveness).
How to Use: Gently insert the plug into the wrinkle-free cylinder with clean hands. Insert the plug into the ear canal while pressing it. Pull the outer ear outward and upward as you insert it to make it easier to wear. Use your fingertips to hold the plug in place until it begins to expand.
Note: For noise environments where frequencies below 500 Hz are predominant, the C-weighted environmental noise level should be used. Improper attachment of the device will reduce noise reduction. Refer to the enclosed product manual for proper attachment. Although earplugs are recommended to prevent damage from excessive noise, the noise reduction ratio (NRR) is based on continuous noise reduction and cannot completely block out discontinuous noises such as gunshots. Do not cut earplugs. Close adult supervision is required when used by children. Inspect plugs before use and replace if damaged or shows signs of use. Do not use for long periods of time. For single-user use only. Infants and children should not place earplugs in windpipes to avoid suffocation. If you experience pain or discomfort when using this product, stop using it. Information required by EPA: The noise level delivered to the human ear when wearing a hearing aid according to the guidelines is approximately approximated by the difference between the A-weighted environmental noise level and the NRR. Example: The environmental noise level measured at the ear is 92 dBA. The NRR is 33 decibels (dB). The noise level delivered to the ear is approximately equal to 92 decibels (A) to 59 decibels (A).
