Do you always wonder at the turn of the year where the high electricity bill comes from? With the current energy prices, this can sometimes be really annoying. That's exactly why I looked around here on Joom a few days ago and ordered a current measuring socket. This is an adapter plug with a display that comes between the actual socket and a device. For example, you can see how high the power consumption of your PC is or how much energy the old washing machine draws per month. If you store the electricity price, you not only see the consumption, but also the costs. It quickly becomes clear what devices should perhaps be replaced by more economical ones. Or which settings on the washing machine/dryer etc. are more energy-efficient. The plug can also count "the other way around" and thus also serves as a counter for my small solar panel. So I can see how much energy I am feeding into our power grid. Because the display runs on batteries, the settings are saved even when the plug is unplugged. The delivery took about 14 days. Unfortunately, the right batteries were not included. Overall, a great addition to find power guzzlers.
